OUR MISSION
Our mission is to create a thriving, resilient landscape across the Tees Valley, planting woodlands that tackle climate change, restore nature, and enrich local lives.
We care about:
People – by creating accessible, high-quality green infrastructure to support wellbeing
Nature – by enhancing biodiversity, improving soil health, and reducing air pollution
Climate – by delivering nature-based solutions for carbon capture and flood resilience
We provide guidance and support to landowners, land managers and partners to plan, fund and deliver woodland creation. From large-scale planting to low-density schemes, mixed habitats, hedgerows, orchards and woodland pasture. Whether urban or rural, every site we help plant unlocks benefits for people, wildlife, and the planet.
We proudly help deliver the Trees for Climate grant, the Government’s flagship woodland creation programme, and we’re one of fifteen brilliant community forests in England.
